Utah roots
I've Watched Utah Grow Up
Some of my earliest memories are of riding my bike through open fields that are now neighborhoods, shopping centers, and entire communities. Over nearly 40 years, I've watched the Wasatch Front grow dramatically—from Ogden through Salt Lake and into Utah County.
That history gives me a perspective that goes beyond streets and subdivisions. I remember what many of these areas looked like before the growth, and I've watched different communities develop their own identity, personality, and pace of life. Utah has also become far more diverse than the place I knew growing up.
Through all of that change, the mountains have always felt like home. Hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, and spending days and nights outdoors taught me that choosing where to live here involves much more than bedrooms, bathrooms, and price. It is also about community, commute, recreation, geography, family, daily routine, and the future you want to build.
